would 2 of these or even just 1 fit in a 60 liter tank?
thanks.

Best to keep single males. One would certainly fit in 60 litres, the question is what else is in there?

well at the momment theres only 2 ballon mollyes in there, would they go well together or not? am not planing on geting a gourami for a few weeks yet

And are you planning on adding anything else as well?

well the next thing i would get is the gourami, if anything else could go in there with that and the mollys then id have sumfing else too, but if not them just them 3, could i add others aswell as them or not?

A dwarf gourami and two mollys would fit but they do have slightly different water preferences. But they should adapt.

As to whether anything else would fit really depends on what you want to add ie a shoal of something?

i dont really mind what i add, im open to all ideas, got any sugestions as to what i could put with them? and like how many more can go in?

A shoal of microrasboras would be a good size contrast and make a change from the usual neon tetras, etc. Or embers tetras might be good.

i havent seen any microrasboras in any of my lfs, but i do like the look of the tetras, should i go for the tetras with the mollys then gourami or other way round? or dont it matter?

I have a dwarf gourami with my mollies.I have to say that i did buy three and two died but the third is living hapily in my tank with mollies(2)guppies(2),cardinal tetras(4) danios, three cories a bristlenose plec and 2 clown loaches. The clows will quickly get too big for this tank and i am looking at new ones. The corys are bottom feeders and keep the bottom clean. the plec eats bogwood and algae in the tank, the guppies and mollies usualy swim in midwater and the danios are very very hardy.Warning though, dont buy male and female mollies and guppies unless you can cope with loads and loads of babies. Stick to female mollies or just one male,or they fight.I learned these lessons the hard way and was not told by my lps not to mix them.My male mollies are not in another tank (the tank that was meant to quarantine new fish and transfer my fry into) The females are still having babies weeks and weeks after seperation.I am keeping the lps supplied well.

Microrasboras aren't a specific species, there are a few within that category, give it a Google. If you have a Maidenhead aquatics near you they often have small green ones in that I've seen under different names - emerald rasbora, green neon rasbora, etc. Tiny but lovely little fish. Either these or embers or any other shoaling fish keep in a group of at least 6. With these tiny ones you could add a few more.

I would add the gourami last when your tank and filter are well established.

sounds good to me, il wait a few weeks then add the shoaling fish, then another few weeks then add the gourami, you think after i got all them in there, would there be any more room for any other fish? if so wha u think would be best, as i said anything would do me lol

Well 60 litres isn't that big so I think you'd probably be at your limit. Mollys get pretty substantial and like plenty of swimming room room. Keep monitoring your ammonia, nitrite etc and stock slowly to let the filter adjust to the changing bioload (I assume your tank is cycled?)

well i used some filter media off a friend to kick start my filter, and now got the mollys in there, but i think il go for tha, tetras or rasboras in a few weeks, then gourami feww weeks after them.

Great. Remember to test the water frequently to check the filter is coping. Both the gourami and tetras or rasboras will appreciate a well planted tank too.
