Dwarf Gourami

I bought a Dwarf Gourami about a month ago to go. Have always thought thought that they were ideal community fish. It has however now and again briefly chased my platies or guppies. Is this harmless or do you think that I could have problems further down the line.

I doubt that any problems should arise, just be cautious.

I have three dwarf gouramis in my tank with three hatchets and an algae eater. The hatchets and algae eater were added a month after the gouramis. That gave everyone time to adapt to everyone else. So far no problem. Just be sure to keep an eye on them.
