Dwarf Gourami With Shrimp?

Okay i have a 15g planted tank stocked with neon tetras and cherry shrimp,i added a dwarf gourami today and he seems to be dashing around and looking (not ignoring,the shrimp swim away before he could get really close) at the shrimps from time to time however he hasnt eaten any. I kept getting different opinions,some say DG with RCS are okay however some say the DG will eat them. Im really confused and want to know which is really true. Help?

Dwarf Gouramis will eat them IF they are small enough. Larger shrimp should be ok.

how small is small enough? 1/2 inch? cause my cherries are mixed,some are bigger than the others,bought them at seperate times and all

If the shrimp have enough places to hide they should be fine. ...even the small ones.
