My dwarf gourami is really aggressive and killed my second favorite fish. I don't want to get rid of him so I need an ultimatum on it. Should I actually get rid of him or move him to my 2.5 gallon tank?

A 2.5 gallon tank for a Dwarf is torture! I have a single male in a 10 gallon with (5) Glowlights, (3) Guppies and (20) Molly fry in a net. I plan to upgrade them all to a 20 gallon later this coming week so that I can release the Molly Fry into the 10 gallon without the net.

Dwarf Gouramis aren't Bettas, and even Bettas require more room than 2.5 gallons in my opinion, regardless of what the fish stores try to tell you.

I know but I only have room for a 2.5 gallon tank for Lucifer my betta but he seems happy since he has a heater.

Maybe you should trade the Dwarf for another Betta? I'm just saying that my Dwarf is in a 10 gallon & that's still not enough.

A pair of Honey Gouramis would be nice but I'm not sure how they'd do with a Betta and a 2.5 gallon still isn't enough for them.
