Dwarf Gourami - How To Get It To Breed?

I really want to see it build a bubble nest. Is there anything special that I need to do to kick this off?

First of all, what are your water stats? What other fish have you got in there? Do you have (floating) plants? And last, but not least; are you sure you have a male and a female? This might sound silly, but it is quite hard to get females as these are not colourful and therefore seldom sold.
