Dwarf Gourami And Angel Fish At War

Hi,

Does anyone know why my dwarf gourami and angel fish are constantly clashing. They cant seem to go near each other without attacking one another

Has anyone else experienced problems in keeping these fish together. The other angel fish i have pays no attention to this but sometimes gets caught in the middle.

I wondered if the tank is a bit small for them now. They are currently in a 100L but will be moving into their new 260L home in a couple of weeks

Any ideas?

They just don't like each other, send them off to counselling

They should settle down when in the bigger tank. In the mean time you can try adding some floating plants and some tall plants that grow to the surface. This will provide more hiding places and break up the territories and should help alleviate some of the agro.

Add more plants. This will reduce the chances of them fighting.
