Dwarf Gouami Spawning

hi, can anyone tell me how often dwarf gouramis will spawn, my 2 dwarf gouramis spawned last night but the male did not build a nest, when will they be able to breed again

under good conditions the female should have developed more eggs in about 2 weeks. Then they can breed again.

If you separate the male & female, then the male should build a bubble nest. However, if there is too much surface turbulence, then he won't build one, or it will fall apart when he is trying. Having lots of floating plants will usually provide him with a nice stabile area to build his nest. You can use live plants like water sprite (Ceratopteris thalictroides) or stuff like Ambulia, Hygrophilla polysperma and Ludwigia. These will survive on the surface or planted in the substrate, but floating is what you want.
