Dwarf goramies

I got 2 very nice dwarf goramies about 3 weeks ago and they had a lovely pink colour but now they have turned more of a pale pinky clear colour is this a water issue or it this natural

I recently got 3 dwarf gouramis. So being new to them I do not know all of the in and outs of the species yet.

You may want to post this in the betta and gourami section as folks there have a lot of good info. I would add the size of your tank, tankmates, water parameters, etc to expedite answers.

They may be stressed out- are they in a planted tank?. Gouramis come from a very hevily planted stram/slow moving river (I forget where now... ) so they like lots of plants. My opaline gourami turnes a light blue colour when he gets stressed out, other wise he is a nice rich blue.

I'm not familiar with any pink dwarf gouramis. Could you have bought Kissing Gouramis?
