Dumb Cycling Question.

So ive got a 90 gallon tank and wanted to help the cycle by using media from my other tank. But i know that tapwater can kill the beneficial bacteria so how long should i wait to add my media to the new tank, without killing the bacteria.

Dechlorinator works almost instantly, if you add it to the tank while you are filling it will pose no problem to your filter media.
