Dull Patches Of Skin

My new gibbicep has weird dullish patches of skin where the pattern has faded away or something, hes a new addition, been in the tank a week and i havent cleaned it out since hes been in there, any ideas?

Stress can sometimes cause this. May well go once he has settled in a bit more. Does he have any hiding places?

Aye, plenty, he's very active during the day too, is this something else stress related?

Not necessarily, gibbs are quite active during the day. What are the other tank mates and what size tank is it?

Theres an opaline gourami, 6 rosy tetras, 3 danios, 6 cories, a wee bala shark, 2 striped loaches and a clown plec

Sorry, you wanted to know tank size, its a 3 footer, the gibbicep is only 2.5 inches

Gibby's (and other plecos) get these, I wouldn't be overly concerned.

The fact you have a Gibby in a 3 footer is a worry though
