Dropping Fry At Different Times

Two of my platies are currently pregnant and fat with and obvious gravid spot. The thing is, they bot already gave birth to some fry about a week ago.

Is it normal for them to not have them all in the same go?

They will deliver all of them in a few hours to maybe a day. They often will still have a dark spot but I would not expect to see any fry for at least 3 more weeks. That would be 4 weeks after the last drop. Although they can carry more than one batch of sperm, they deliver one drop before the next starts to develop.

Usually they will drop fry within a couple of hours, but it can last up to 3 days maybe longer..

They drop fry every 4-6 weeks, usually more at the 4 week mark.

They've already given birth with this preganancy though. Should I expect any more babies soon? They have not lost any of the mass they gained from being pregnant.

I think it's a safe bet that she'll be delivering again soon, I think if more than 3 days pass and she doesn't then there will be reason to worry. She is probably just out of energy!
