Drop Checkers And The Solution

Hi Guys
i am going to buy some 4dKH solution from aqua essentials to go in to my drop checker. dose anyone know if its ok to use a Aquarium pharmaceuticals PH test kit ( API ) to add a few drops to the solution

The normal one is OK to use as it is bromo blue based. Once in the checker it may look green for a few seconds but after a swirl it will go bright blue.

Do't use the High Ph one.

Thats the one.

Some people get confused and start talking about the Ph of the tank. This is why you use the 4dKH solution as it will be in the Ph range of this kit and then by the Ph change within this 4dKH water you know the ppm of the CO2.
