yay, my plumbing finally arrived so I'll play about with that a bit this afternoon.
right all sorted now and have the mini weir built, i chopped the bulk head and corner peice down so it only sticks out 70mm into the tank now.
I'ved managed to make quite a messy job of the weir using solvent cement, silicon and black silicone on it, although it doesn't actually look too bad at the moment.
1 thing though what size and how many holes should I put in the spray bar?
it's a 1200lph pump, the spray bar is 20mm pipe.
EDIT- ko new thought, going by my ehiem spray bar on a 950lph filter system which has 9 holes that look about 2mm.
so new question being...should I have all the holes pointing in the same direction?....I could have point at the surface for some good aigitation and some pointing down at the liverock, does this sound good?
