I am toying with the idea of getting my Rio 180 drilled similar to some Fluval aquarium setups, so that I can connect my Eheim pro 3 - 250 from the bottom of the tank and inside the cabinet. It'll also allow me to keep the set up closer to the wall.
Need to know what type of bulkhead I will need in order for me to connect 16/22mm eheim pipes from the canister to the tank, amd the intake/outlet pipe on the inside of the tank. I'd like to connect a spraybar to the inside return. Are there any pitfalls to this type of setup? Would a weir around the intake pipe be required?
