 I have a 55 gallon planted tank that is doing quite well. I have several rainbows, corys, ecos, etc. I have been reading up on Rainbows, and the latest book said that you are not to put driftwood into one's Rainbow tank. I realize that it would lower the Ph. Has anyone had bad luck with the driftwood and rainbows? What should I do? Right now I have a large lava rock that my Siamese algae eater likes to hide in. I think it would be cool to have driftwood in the tank. Thanks for any comments.

:hi: to the forums.

I have neon and red rainbows in a planted tank with bog wood and mopani and have noticed no ill effects, though hard water is reccommended.
