Dwarf Puffers
what fish can i keep in a community with them?

i was thinking

20gl.
5 DP's
4 Bummblebee gobies (freshwater)
and then a bulldog pleco
and some khuli loaches...

??

Good?
Bad?
can do some improving?

I don't know what to tell ya'. I've had alot of success with my puffers mixing with all my fish, but I have a 45 gallon tank so they all have alot of room. I guess I can tell ya' my striped bulldog pleco is doing great with them, but that's about it. From what I hear it partially comes down to luck. Sometimes they can be jerks and sometimes you can get lucky and get some that do great with a bunch of other fish. I'm sure you'll get some responses that they need to be in a species only tank. It is generally suggested that you do not keep Dwarf Puffers in a community tank while the fish might seem to get along Dps usually have a bit of a mean streak in them an nip constantly at the fins of their tank mates. I have in the past tried actually a bull dog pleco which was recomminded to me by a person working at the petstore the little bugger ripped up his fins and the next day I returned the damagaed pleco and Jackie(pet store owner) took care of him and took him home to her tank. She also has DPs and has had them for somtimes and tried numerious combination but they also have ended in failure (she has now told her employees not to suggest any combination of fish with DPS). The only fish that I've kept with a DP alright is an otos. I keep two DPs with two otos in my 10gal any other fish that is even some what active the little buggers tear apart. So it a matter of luck but the odds are kinda stacked against a community tank combination so you can do what will keep your fish happy and health or do somthing where they might all live but with constant fights and under some stress.

I have a 25 US gallon tank with two dwarf puffers, 3 angels, several danios, and a bumble bee gobi. They have lived together since May without incident.
