I got home from class today and didn't see any tails in the nest. I figured Gabriel had eaten them, as I didn't see anything when looking from above or below. I went to take the styrofoam cup out, and WOAH, it was raining fry!!!! Poor Gabe was rushing around all over the place grabbing them all before they hit the bottom (sorry Gabe, hehe). I saw about 30 fall, and I'm sure there were probably a few more still in the nest somewhere.
I was soooo happy to see all those little guys! Looks like Gabe is an excellent father, even better than his father was! He has been under that nest all day doing his job, and unlike his father, he actually makes sure the fry stick deep in the nest rather than just spitting them up towards it and hoping for the best. What a little prince he is

That's a lot like how Frost was. He had the nest quite high and I could see little fry up in the bubbles near the top of the nest.

Goodie I want some of the fry. I am thinking about seeing if your babies will spawn soon. I sent your money back out this morning. let me know as soon as you get it ok. I feel so dumb over that. Anyways congrats on the fry and I am waiting in line for mine. You know they will have great homes. I forgo to tell you I bought tanks for everyone of they fry that you sent me. They are my kids now.

Yes, there will probably be some coppers unless the redloss gene messes with that somehow... I SO hope for copper marbles. They both have the redloss gene, so there should be no reds this time... at least not after they all change! They may start out as red, we'll see. There will also be some DTs, which I'm super excited about! I can't wait to see those little cuties

Today all the tails are plainly visible, and there are a lot more of those little buggers than I previously expected! 100-ish, maybe.
