Dorset Pea Gravel Small

Hi

Has any body used this before and if so how do you rate it.

Also can anybody give me a guide on how small the stones are in the small size? not sure whether to give small or medium.

I have these in my 100L they look small in there but they do look alot bigger in my 25L, theyre about 5mm average.

Im putting these into my 180l tank did you find them to be sharp at all i heard some people saying that the mix have some sharp stones in.

Where did you by them from aswell.

I used it too, about the size of regular natural looking gravel. I bought mine at Surrey Pets online, seemed to be the cheapest... delivery was really slow though. Only tip is it needs A LOT of rinsing before using.

Here is what mine looks like, I've not noticed anything sharp in there.

Im torn between this gravel and one thats all the same colour but in a natural shade?

I got this dirt cheap from wilkinsons - so it was the price that did it for me its simple and natrual looking and rounded certainly not sharp. I have it in my daughters tank though tbh i've gone sand and wouldn't look back - i think the main thing with the substrate is that it should not distract the attention from the fish

mine isnt really sharp, i went to pets at home first and they wanted £12 for 8kg, went to a smaller pet shop near my home and they sold me 25kg builders bag for £11, dont get me wrong it took a fair while cleaning them but ive saved over £20....i suppose you could get it from any harware store as long as its washed properly will try and upload a photo later
