Dont No What Fish To Have Any Idesa Please

ok so i got rid of my tank swhen i moved 4 months ago and iv decided to get a new one i picked it up last night.
It 3ft by 1 and a half by 1 and a half i was thinking of getting discus but dont no what i can put with them and how many i can get in can someone help me plese with a few suggetstions and stuff thanks in advance

in a smaller tank such as that I'd go with discus and only discus.

how many would you recomend and would they go with plecs and maybe a few cories aswell

a few cories and a pleco or 2 should be alright (I'd recommend BN plecos) and in a 3ft tank hmmm... I'd say no more than 4 or 5, any ideas on the gallons?

i cant remember i thought they might try and eat the cories il work out the gallons and post it in a min

they shouldn't, but I just realized, your tank is only 1 foot tall? you'd be better off going with smaller growing species of fish because discus can grow to be a 6"+ sized plate. So only 1ft tall won't be very comfortable for them.

its 1 and a half foot tall and its 191 litres and 49.14 us gallons

alright then you should be fine sorry lol... but yeah about 4 or 5, make some caves down below and you should be fine having cory cats and plecs.

what sort of plec would you reccomend apart from bn plecs as i had them in my last tank and i fancy a change

also i quite like the look of malawi any suggestions on them im stuck trying to decide between 2 the 2

if you like malawis go for it, they're a bit of an easier set-up as discus can be tempermental. but no corries in the cichlid tank. Hmm types of plecos... well if you care to rehome the fish eventually then you could try a Gibicepes pleco, they grow large (up to 28" I've heard) but look very nice. Other than that you could try some rarer plecos.

ok thanks for the advice im gona go malawi i think but then i got the problem of not knowing what 2 get and how many lol as there is so many could you make me up a list if its not to much trouble and then i could research it thanks in advance
