I know what a hybrid is by def but I didn't realize it happed with fish. I popped in to see what things they were talking about and saw that it is a hot topic? It was really the only forum I hadn't looked at.
Sorry I'm new to this fish thing. I pick fish that are cool looking, are fun to watch and won't eat each other, I'm not sure I care about if they are hybrid? ?Is it just a personal thing? I thought I'd post here and in hybrids to see the different view points? I really don' t want to start something just wondering as I currently have no hybrid and don't think I plan on it.

Personally I don't care if a fish is hybrid as long as it isn't going to get released into the wild, as they would have some serious problems if they did.... I don't like the looks of a lot of them though, and they often have health problems, so I'm not that big on them. As long as it stays in a tank I have no issues.
