I have long susected that despite their lack of colour my amano shrimp are one my favourite group in the tank as they are so interesting - well today sealed it! I had my arm in the tank doing a quick inspired move when two of my larger shrimp swam over and landed on my arm. They then proseded to pluck at my arms like i was a bit of algae infested drift wood 
In the end they swam off but now if i put my finger up to the shrimp they will jump on - like a domestic bird! I have to say it feels very funny - they really are very sticky little arms!
