Dolphin...

i was in the lfs the other day and came across a black fish called a dolphin...something, i cant remember the full name of it. and i cant find it on the net. any one know what its called? and whats its compatibility?

I know the exact fish you are talking about, as on Saturdays I work in the shop I think you've seen it in .

It's labelled as a 'dolphin mormyrid', while I can't remember what species is in stock offhand (a few are sold by this name), it's most likely Mormyrus tapirus. I'm not 100% sure, I could be way off and it could be a smaller species, It's really worth asking in-store.

this is an elephant nose... just a different species. Is this what you are talking about?
