Dojo Loachs Skin Coming Off?

i recently did a water change ( about 50-60% ) to reduce my ammonia levels and now my remaining inhabitants are swimming alot more than usual
the dojo is freaking out and its skin or something white seems to be peeling off of it? anybody know what this could be?
the other animals are three ghost shrimp.
my levels from the last time i did atest was
ph- 7
temp-80-82
amonia- ??(water change) last test was .05
nitrites - 0
nitrates- ??

i currently do not have a testing kit, ill hopefully obtain one in a few weeks from b-day money

so i improvised and got the water tested at a petstore,which is the best i could do. and unforunatly the only thing the guy said was "everythings fine except for your ammonia." thats the only phrase he would say to me.

Don't know much about the dogo species but I do know that they need to be kept in cooler water, 74 is about the max without them suffering too much, if your temps are fluctuating much then the dojo will freak out as well.

Reduce the temp but gradually and get a test kit so you can check it propertly.
