Is this specifically for saltwater or does it work for fresh as well?

The description is a little bit "off", It explains about alkalinity, and such in seawater, but then goes on to say that the kit includes tests for things that dont include alkalinity, etc.

it would seem that the included tests are exactly whats needed for freshwater as well.... correct?

I would think it does, because I have testers that say they work on fresh or saltwater, but I can't be sure. Why don't you just get a test kit from a pet store? They're asking $25 for that kit, and I'm pretty sure you can get kits that include all that for less than $25 (and no shipping!), and that you know work on freshwater.

all the master kitsd ive seen sell for about $55 USD.... Im Canadian, so that adds another few dollars.

That was fairly cheap compared to some ive seen.....

Problem is, I bought that red sea marine test kit, not paying attention....... I thought "Red Sea Marine" was the company....

So now Ive purchased this product, there isn't much else I can do at this point.

BTW, Red Sea is the manufacturer, not Red Sea Marine. Marine Depot is the distributer.

Yes it was too late that i realized that the manufacturer is Red Sea, and NOT Red Sea Marine
