Hi

Does this sound ok or am i overstocking?

48x12x15 tank (30gallon)

5 colombian tetras
5 black neon tetras
5 corydoras
2 sailfin mollies
2 kuhli loach
-----------------------
5 black phantm tetra
2 black ruby barb
6 cardinal tetra
3 bleeding hart tetra
5 red eye tetra

if so, what do you suggest dropping (tank only half full at present (only ones above line in tank)

Stocking seems fine at the moment (add more kuhli loaches if anything and one more cory :P). You could probably add more fish though I'm not sure on the exact numbers, 4ft by 12" is a nice footprint for small community fish.

I would like to say that its my personal opinion that an aquarium looks better when there is only 1 or two larger shoals of the same type of fish, than when theres 4 or 5 shoals of different fish. So if it was me it would just be a larger shoal of columbian and black neons rather than adding different species.

Hi carney :)

Except for adding some more kuhli loaches, I would suggest you go slowly with any new additions. There's still room, but if your fish are young they will grow. If you have a pair of mollies they might give you fry and they would need some room too.

What kind of corys do you have?
