Does This Sound Like A Good Idea?

i have a 240l tank which is nearing the end of the fishless cycle. the tank is bare, nothing apart from substrate and some wood

in about 2 months i will be able to get my fish alot cheaper then i can at the moment. the tank it going to be heavily planted with co2 etc

im thinking, once this cycle has finished empty the tank, plant all the plants, turn the lights on, get the co2 and ferts going.
then keep adding ammonia every day like i do currently so keep the bacteria alive

then when i can get the cheap fish, do another big waterchange and then add the fish. by this time plants will be established etc

does this sound like it will work? or are there any problems you can forsee?

It will work.....

I was cycling a tank before Christmas using a bit of matured media. It completed the cycle much, much quicker than anticipated and as I was banned from any fish shop during the festivities I had to continue with the ammonia for a few more weeks.

If you need to keep the artificial environment going (ie adding ammonia) for sometime the increasing nitrAtes my cause a stall so do some partial water changes as you would if you had fish in there.
