I am trying to work out the total amount of fish I can stock in my tank. I want to be slightly understocked and have a nice community. I entered my tank dimensions on thinkfish.com' s community creator and this is what it has come up with:

W50cm, L120cm, H60 = 612cm total fish

This seems alot to me? Has anyone got a simple formula on how to work out total amount of fishy space I have?

Many thanks :good:

its usually like 1inch per fish for freshwater or 2 for saltwater not sure what that is in cm though . america dosnt measur with that

well the inch per gallon is a general template when stocking tanks, but you'd have to take more for high waste producers like plecos, so you tank would be approx 93 US gallons, so about 93 inch of adult sized fish
