Does puffer fish eats meal worm?

Are we talking about a pea puffer? Mine is super picky...I've provided him frozen blood worms and frozen brine shrimp...he may graze on it after it hits the sand but I've never seen him eat it. Now, he CRUSHES ramshorn snails.

I mean normal puffer fish like Seeron puffer fish or figure 8 puffer fish. (Not sure how to spell Seeron)

I think the larger ones will eat mealworms as long as they are big enough.
