Does My Tank Look Ok?

This tank has been set up for a while, it houses a male betta, bronze corys, armoured shrimp and a couple of baby bristlenose plecs.


Is there anything that I could do that would improve the look. Fresh eyes and all.

I like it. As above a background is needed. Maybe even consider painting the rear glass with black or blue paint. Really effective

I think a simple black background would make it look 100% times better. The only thing i would change is getting rid of the centre peice. And maybe adding some wood instead But i think it looks great

i think i would remove the center piece too, looks...odd. Im not even sure i would put a background on it, i quite like the way it is, looks very clean and crisp, nice one.

I really like it without a background but would definitely get rid of the middle ornaments and add some nice wood

Is there something in the middle of that ornament though? Is it going to be covered in moss or something eventually? If so that would be pretty cool!

Agree with above...a background but maybe even leave it how it is or go a light coloured background because as someone mentioned it does look clean and crisp. Nice tank

I wouldn't but a background on it. You can try though it might look quite good. But like someone else said I'd remove the middle object and replace it with wood or re-arange the plants a little?

Didge - There is some moss in the middle thingy. I might tie that to the outside of it. Does anyone think that will look good?

I have got a background to add, just deciding between the blue or black sides.

Id put it on the black background/ But thats just me im not keep on the blue side of them.

I'm thinking of adding some moonlight leds to the tank lid while I'm doing the changes. Can anyone recommend a set from ebay? Should I get a set with a dimmer? My tank is 60l/24" long.
