I was wondering do males like to flare at a various other bettas or are they happy to display to the guy next door now and then. I know they like to have their tanks moved around, so do they like a new flare buddy now and then? I just rotated mine to see what happens and my mustard gas has darkend all his colours to show off

there really is not much point in it as they will flare at anything, the only thing i can see wrong with it is if the bettas are in seperate tanks (not divided) then there is always a risk of cross contaminating any illnesses that havent shown their ugly heads yet, i always think its best to keep a betta from flaring so much as too much can cause rips in tails, once bettas are settled they will flare occasionally which is just healthy exercise.
