Does Clown have ich or not - so confused

Clown Loach I bought at weekend developed some (about 10) small white spots yesterday, and was doing some flashing - today spots have gone, apart from one or two barely discernable. I was panicking and bought Ich cure but reading the instructions it says to be particularly wary of diagnosing CLs as having Ich as they get white spots on their body due to water conditions (my ammonia and nitrite are nil but I don't know what they were in shop !) - so does CL have Ich or not - do I treat or not?....I'm confused

If the whitespots are disappearing I wouldn't medicate just yet.

Clown loach are very susceptible to whitespot, I had 3 a couple of years ago who developed ich within a couple of days of being added to the tank. It took me 3 weeks to get rid of it, best thing is to raise the tank temp to about 82 degrees and use half doses of the ich med. Despite the fact that it took 3 weeks to get rid of the ich, the clowns never seemed too bothered by it and survived with no problems. If you're not sure if it is ich, keep a close eye on them until you are certain before adding any meds.
