Does Boredom Make You Overstock?

I was thinking last night, does boredom make you overstock?

What I mean is, if for example you have a tank containing x ammount of fish and you've had it like that for some time, do you get (perhaps bored isn't the right word) but want something different, you either buy another tank or you think that is too much trouble so I'll get more fish.

I love watching my fish but I must admit I think sometimes what if I had...

Sometimes I do a rescape to combat that feeling, if I'm in the fish shop I try and resist buying more fish, sometimes I avoid looking at the tanks and just get what I went in for but it is tempting sometimes.

I don't overstock tanks, no never, although in my very mature tanks I might stock up to the limit.

I do get more tanks though; currently have eight running
