you need pure ammonia NH3, not ammonia hydroxide NH3NaOH
and as said the larger boots stores should stock it, also you may wish to try robert dyas

Yeah I managed to get some from boots the other day but you have to ask for it because they told me that they don't usually keep it out on the shelves.
