I was all set to order my huge tank from them. But after 18+ years they seem to have disappeared.
They are reasonably local to me and I'd been there to the shop, to speak about the build and check out some of the tanks. Everything seemed great. Was very happy.
Was told they have 4+ months of orders, and that's how long I'd have to wait. So it's strange that it has gone.
The message on their site is:
"I Am Sorry But We Are Not Taking Any Further Orders.
The un-associated aquatic store located next door to us is trading as normal. Thank you"
I do find this a little strange as it was the 'un-associated aquatic store' next door in which I discussed all aspects of my build and was going to order from. Plus, the door from construction warehouse leads directly into the shop (fish finatics).
I just hope nobody has lost out to them.
On a related note...recommendations for a builder? My last tank was bought from ND Aquatics. The tank is great, but was unimpressed with the delivery driver literally dumping (with a considerable thud) a pallet in my front garden and scarpering.
