Does Anyone Have This Metal Stand?

Hello all,

Does anyone have this stand?

What I wonder about is how solid it can be with the front supports missing. It looks as if this is by design, though.

I am told that it is 14x31 which seems a little odd, but it also looks like it can hold 2 tanks.

I don't know the last time I saw an iron stand like this for sale anywhere. Not sure why they went out of style.

Does anyone have this? All advice is welcome.

Hi, just saw your post! There are no front supports, yours looks just like mine, except mine is 48'' long I think. I currently have two 55 gallon tanks on mine and it works great, also looks very nice!

However there are a few negatives with it I had a hard time getting my filter in due to the fact there was not enough space above the top shelf , but in the end I got it in Changing decorations is not easy because it's not very easy to reach your hand in with the top shelf. I also had to buy a large funnel for adding water after siphoning because a bucket would not fit.

If you don't mind working around a cramped area on the bottom tank, it works well for holding two tanks I love the look of having two on mine!

ive just sold my tank and stand just like this, i was amazed how many people emailed wanting just the stand

Thanks for the feedback, RyanV and phoenixgsd. Mostly I wondered if that kind of stand could handle the weight - I guess it is pretty strong stuff.
