Does Anyone Have Any Experience With Lymphocystis?

Hi,

I have a Fighter with suspected Lymphocystis (full details are in the emergency section titled: "Fighter (betta) With White Lumps On Fins... Please Help!")
Wilder suggested I pop over here to see whether anyone else has had personal experience of this?
I've researched it around the 'net a little bit, but as usual, information tends to conflict.
Any experience, advice, etc would be welcomed!

It has been a long stressful day of worrying about my fish (fighter and ex-tankmates) so will be heading for bed shortly, but will check back in the morning.
