I haven't seen any in the LFS and so was wondering if they are really that rare.

The green kissers are the wild-type and are truly very rare in captivity. I have only ever seen them once in my lfs and I think it is even difficult to find them over the internet.

I have seen them in a few shops over here for quite a decent price but unfortunantly i don't have the room to house them, yet ;) I wouldn't say they're extremly rare, but they are quite popular with fish keepers so they often disappear quickly.

You people are lucky :p As I said, I've only ever seen them once and I've always wanted to keep kissers but don't particularly like the pink color :( Are you planning on getting a few?

The next tank i'm setting up will either be for discus, or other N.W. Cichlids, so i'll probably stay away from them, but you never know, i could still change my mind

The most commonly available pink form of Kissing Gouramis is usually readily available, certainly in the UK. The Green colour form can prove much harder to find but can usually be tracked down, but it will not come in such bulk numbers at small sizes as the pink form, tending to be sold in smaller numbers at larger sizes. :)

Lucky indeed, i have never seen any in LFS and i don't think i will soon. Though i have seen the "marble" variety....they are interesting pink with faint black patches. Wonder how they look as adults.

Yeah, i was just hoping someone out there would have a pic of their green kisser ;) oh well
