Hello everyone. First i would like to say this is an awesome site with awesome helpfull people. I just switched my aquarium from being a plastic and some live plants to a completely live plant tank. I took the gravel out and added eco complete substrate.Iwas wondering if there are any sugggestions on how to make DIY co2 system for an 80 gallon since money is really tight right now. i will eventually get a pressurized one but for now a DIY system will have to do. thank you

hey cserra, i'm afraid DIY C02 on an 80g isn't really viable. You'd need at least 10 2ltr bottles if not more to make this work. The problem with DIY yeast C02 is that it starts to become unstable as the the tank gets larger. This in turn will lead to various algae outbreaks.
