Not yet, but I'm planning to use DIY CO2 injection soon.

I was planning on it, but seeing as my plants are thriving without it, I'm not going to bother. I'm using 40 watts over a standard 25 gallon tank.

The more wattage you use, the more important the co2 injection becomes. One must always take into accound all the variables - not just the what, but the why.

I use both compressed CO2 and DIY and if anyone ask me the way to go.. DIY is great you'll never need 100% exactly the same amount in a tank 24/7 in any tank to have perfect plants.

I get excellent results with the Nutrafin units and a DIY recipe. I was buying a compressed cylinder setup but Xmas has proved expensive this year!!

I used DIY CO2 for a few months when I first set up my planted tank, and got lazy stopped using it. The tank has been growing great for over 4 years now without it.

Agreed. I have some plants over 3 feet long without any extras fertilizing them. When the day comes when i buy a $50 plant then i will.
