Do You Think This Would Be Ok In My Tank?

I'm adding another plant that reaches to the top (mine are all fake) and saw lily pad ones that float. Do you think that's a good idea for Bettas or a waste of money?

Marie... if it is the lilly you're referring to, in my experience..... they do not grow well in tanks.... only meant for outside ponds. So my vote is no..... do not get it.....

Maybe, Marie. I have found that bettas, and fish in general, are more active if the surface is covered... But I would say if you don't want it, don't get it. It's pretty ugly in my opinion.

If you don't want real plants, I would suggest getting a realistic-ish looking leafy vine. I have a really neat one that is segmented so you can make it bushy, or long. And just let it float. Even better if it's silk and not plastic.

This style, maybe? Just pop the plant off the base.
