I don't like it, but that is just my opinion.
When we were looking at aquariums the cabinets were the #1 reason we avoided the Juwel aquariums at our LFS and went with the Aqua One tank, just not a fan of the 'balanced on a pedestal' look, (that and having young children whos foreheads would likely not take long to find the overhanging corners...)
Of course that is just my opinion though, and everyone will have their own, and you mother has hers, it's your job to either accept it or change it

well i can only persuade as aquaones tend to be a little expensive.

I think the dark will look better with the cream sofa...as long as the other cabinet matches reasonably well.

its really disheartening, ive wanted a bigger tank for around 3 years i get my chance, and some stupid cabinet that looks crap ruins it for me looks like itll might have to go in my bed room, check out my other thread
