Do You Think I Should Get Angels

Molly best thing to do is research fish before you buy them this way it dosn't end in disaster, as it causes alot of upset.

No, it's not. You just need appropriate size fish for it. If you get a bunch of smaller fish and plant your tank I'd bet your tank would rival some of the prettiest tanks.

here it is but i can only see a few fish in that pic
Photo-0029.jpg

and thats before i took them back
i dont understand see i told you it looked crap

It's actually a beautiful looking tank. What fish were in there at the time of the photo?

i never have any look with fish you see.

Could you take the fish back that you have now and start again?
Some Endlers would look great in that tank as well as certain varieties of Tetras.

i could try but i got them from all over the place some from wavertree some from the hillfoot aquarium some from
premier pets i could try but my dad will need alot of petrol

The layout you have that tank there most definately does NOT look crap.

Having a small tank most certainly does NOT mean it will always have to be crap or look crap.

Look on here http://showcase.aquatic-gardeners.org/2005...vol=0&id=17 Thats a 14gallon tank.
That won a prize - hardly crap!

http://showcase.aquatic-gardeners.org/2005...vol=0&id=43

That tank is only .5 of a gallon bigger than yours. Again, distinctly not crap.

Big fish and Big tanks do not necessarily equal = excellent.

Small tanks with suitable plants and fish and inverts can look amazing - ive got a 12g tank that ill be doing as a planted tank soon (as my housemate goes on holiday and fails to notice me spend the money i owe him on it).

In my 12g as well as plants and rocks i intend to have some pristella tetras, some duplicareus corydoras and possibly some shrimp.

There are loads of small fish to choose from, loads of plants and rocks and shrimp to suit your tank and make it look excellent and from the pic in your post you definately have the ability to do that already.

I agree Canis.
Some of the most beautiful tanks I've seen have been the smaller ones.
There's such a nice variety too of smaller, colourful fish.
