okay thanks alot for your help mate, theres just one thing, how do you make it able to auto syphon?

it seems abit hard to figure out what pump size i will need? i will be using a 80litre tank...and the only way i can have a big enough sump is to have it next to my tank, i cant fit it under it! it will be nearly at the same water hight! so im guessing the auto sypon wont work?
