Do You Talk To Your Betta?

Ok, Tonight me and shimmer kind of had a good bond. Call me stupid but i feel a great friendship with a fish, my fish lol!
I sat on the desk next to his tank and he came tot he top and his eyes tilted upa dnd looked at me i spoke to him for a while then read him a page of my book, i just feel like this fish is a long lost friend or soemthing!
Does anyone talk to their betta?

I admire mine, never voice my thoughts to them. They might get angry.

yes i talk to mine, usually because i spend the day with my 2 yr old and it's nice not to be answered back!!!

i say hello to all my fish when the lights come on and when i feed them. i also say bye everyone when i leave the house (i have a pit bull, turtle and loads of fish). same goes when i come home, i say hi everyone. but i dont have lengthy conversations with the fish or anything. (but sometimes i do with the dog )

Yes, even though they can't hear me obviously. But it makes me feel better to prattle away at them.

Sometimes when I walk into the room i'll say hi to him. But I haven't had any conversations with him. (yet)

I do say the odd thing now and again including telling them off when they get up to mischeif

as for my two dog's i'm waaaay too attached had them going on 9 years and have their paw prints tattooed on my hip, i get attatched to all my pets and animals which does entail talking to them

Wow, paw prints on your hip thats awesome . I love all my pets (talk to them aswell )

I dont have lenghty conversations but i do say morning or afternoon and ask them how they are feeling and what they are up to lol !!!

i speak to my dog lol, but i find it hard to get friendly with my guppies, I just think of them as rabbits lol
