so iv got around 30 platy fry and wondered do you think my lfs will buythem off me for cheap or will they just offer to take them off my hands lol

Yes some do just give them a ring to see if they would take them.
Sometimes they will give you store credit, or free fish if you want some.
Or sometimes you have to give them away for nothing it depend on the lfs.

They usually won't buy them until they are at least an inch long if at all. Might be able to get some credit for them...

My lfs took my fry at a week old because they already had fry tanks.

Hi, as mentioned most lfs will need the fry to be of an established size. Also IME the lfs are very reluctant to give cash for them (unless specemin fish) but a credit note, albeit small, will have you coming back to their shop.

Yeah, I swap my krib fry for credit notes, but they have to be 1.5 inches long at least
