bloodworm and krill trouble is as soon as it hits the water hes upside down gulping it all in do you think i should put him on a diet?

Just looks full to me... :p starve him for a few days...and his belly will disappear.

How often do you feed him?

feed him every day bit worried about him getting hungry and eating other fish all though he does seem like a gental giant!

We'll if you have fish in there that he can eat he will eventually decide to do it.....You should only ever feed carniverous fish every 3-4days and make sure its a varied diet. Feeding everyday isn't a good idea as they wouldnt eat enough to swell themselves everyday in the wild.

Syndontis show farely large bellies when they are well fed. Make sure he belly is like that everytime you feed him, and he will be a Healthy Lace catfish :)

I'd agree - it's unlikely he/she has eggs. I'd cut back the amount of food maybe that way putting him on a diet without cutting out food and hopefully that will stop him from eating the other fish but keep an eye on his behaviour, if you see him looking and  over the fish then...............!!!!!
I have to say though he does look happy! I presume he is pooing ok and not constipated at all??

its been about 30 hours since hes eaten and about a hour ago i caught him trying to eat a young bristle nose :/ so i guess i better feed him every other day and it should be ok

He just like to eat. If you dont feed him everyday he will get one way or the other looks to me like. If he was trying to eat a smaller fish than him. He might still try to eat the smaller fish. That is something you cant never tell. I would watch him close if I were you..
