Well the title says it all...do they?

My hubby reckons that he saw my SAE's tucking in to my newly added and tied down m. tenerum - I reckon that they were just grazing for any algae that may have been on there... at least I hope they were

if your Sae's are hunger enough them ya they will eat some of your plants.

Mmm I can't say that they should have been starving. I'm just wondering if they were the cause of clump no.1 of the m. tenerum suddenly disappearing from the slate it was attached to so afraid for clump no.2

It hadn't occurred to me that they would do this until I read somewhere about them destroying a clump of java moss in 3 hours flat!

I have three and they havent eaten any of the MT they do graze on it nor have they eaten any of the moss, but I guess its possible.
