both have orange heads ?

I have a black, a marble and an orange female mollies just trying to find out who the mother is ? only the black and the marble really look 'fit to drop'

Hi Debbie. Assuming that the females haven't been exposed to males other than their own type, then no. The orange headed ones aren't from the black or marble females. Blacks will be black from birth. Just because a female Mollie doesn't look "ready" to give birth, doesn't mean that she won't.

Hmmm right, well I am a little stumped then, they look half marbled and half orange!!

OK well originally tha marbled and black molly were in a tank with a white mollie, and the orange molly was in another tank with 2 male orange mollies, I moved the females to the tank with the other female in and the orange male mollies into the tank with the white male, so guess I could have a mix of everything..lol.
