Do I Still Need A Filter?

Today I have moved my otos out of my betta tank, so now I have 34 litres, divided into two, with two male bettas and 4 amano shrimp.

I am running a fluval one filter in the tank, but with such a small amount of fish in there, is it still really needed?

Yes I would leave the filter in the tank.
To be honest its not a small amount of fish for a six gallons with 2 betta's and a 4 shrimp.

a filter will help keep the water cleaner for longer and there will be less stress on the fish because the water will stay cleaner.

If you took the filter out you would lose your amanos, either by them dying or vacating your tank.

You also need water movement so there able to breath.
