Do I Remove Filter Cartidge With Bettafix

if i decide to treat "Wayne"..do i remove the cartidge in his filter and just keep it running with nothing in it?
Do i change water everyday before giving the dosage? how much water? he is in a 2.5gal. tank.

If you use it you should remove the carbon filter pad, give the recommended dose once a day for 7 days and then do a full water change. If he's still not better then you can start another round for 7 days.

Well if he is in a tank by himself, just remove the carbon. You can keep the filter running, this gives water flow to the tank so it still has movement goiing on. Do not do any water changes while treating him, give him the recomended dosage everyday. At the end of his treatment period (ex. 7 days) do a water change. Follow the directions on the bottle for specific treatment amounts to give.
